Are you willing to invest in 1 60-minute session once a week for 6 weeks in an online group setting to learn a variety of ways of introducing CALM into your daily routine?  Dates and times below.

Beginner or seasoned meditators welcome.

Each week for 6 weeks, we will meet in person in Markham or together on a live Zoom call.

Together we’ll find our “CALM In The Storm”. Together we’ll find stillness and silence that rests within. Together we’ll set intentions for calm & inner peace. Together we’ll meditate. And together we’ll learn the importance of:

Breath awareness and it’s role on our parasympathetic nervous system. Its role on our wellbeing.

Gratitude and the importance of recognizing it NOW more than ever. Seeing and acknowledging what we DO have.

Creativity as our birthright…doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with the arts. Creativity is what brings us joy: being in that moment of creation, whether it’s discovering a great recipe and sharing the fruits of our labour with a friend, a new take on an old garden, or the creative way we interact, play & teach our children.  In our current global situation, what gifts or talents do we posses that may help others now? What can we create now to take us to the other side of this life-changing pandemic? What great ideas have you been sitting on, pondering? Let’s discover that creativity, that joy, together!

In the short time I’ve been practicing meditation, I’ve noticed that I am much more calm during the days.  During this time of social distancing it can be very hectic juggling work and childcare obligations.  Daily meditation has allowed me to carve out a little bit of time for me to take care of myself each day so that I’m better able to take care of the other people in my life who need me.

Who am I, you ask?

 

I’m Cheryl!

 

I teach peace & human awesomeness through Yoga and Meditation every day.  People tell me I’ve helped them find some CALM through the work I do.  People have also made some very significant life changes after diving a little deeper into themselves through these teachings.

 

Deepak Chopra taught me a thing or two about meditation and then he certified me as one of his teachers. After several years of LIVE, in person training with Deepak himself in California, I then became a Chopra Certified Instructor in 2010.

 

Since then I have taught hundreds of people how to find their CALM through the daily practice of meditation.  I would be honoured to guide you.

 

I believe now, more than ever, finding stillness & silence is crucial to our wellbeing, and I can help.

Cheryl:  So, you’ve been hearing now for years that meditation is good for you.  You’ve heard its great at helping calm the body/mind, reducing stress & increasing inner peace. A little calm inside the storm if you will.

OK, I’m listening….

 

AND, increased creativity.  All of these leading to more joy?!

 

Seriously?  No way.  Too good to be true.

 

Perhaps you’ve done quite a bit of reading about the benefits of meditation. You’ve even tried a couple of the meditation apps – felt ok….for a bit….You’ve gone to a meditation class – once.  It was nice.  You liked it. And maybe that’s as far as you got, and that’s ok.

I was once where you are!

I was very reluctant to start meditating. My brain was so active and any attempt at even quieting it for a few minutes seemed futile. I also didn’t feel like I had the time.  I couldn’t get half the stuff done in my day as it was!  How on earth could I possibly squeeze that in?  No way!

It’s been well over 25 years now and it was THE BEST decision I ever made.
