Intro To Yoga, a 4 week experience.
Never practiced Yoga before? Always wanted to?
This 4 week series will provide new students with a step-by-step introduction to Yoga and what to expect during a yoga class. This program is designed with absolute beginners in mind and it’s our intention to help you transition into any one of our Hatha or Hatha Flow classes upon completion. You will learn about basic poses, proper alignment to develop a safe practice, common yoga terminology, Meditation and breathing techniques. Each class session is 75 minutes in length. This course is approximately 25% theory and 75% physical as you discover, learn & practice the postures (asanas) in a gentle & mindful way. In these 4 short weeks, you’ll have a good solid foundation in the fundamentals of Yoga, a better understanding of physical alignment as well as the knowledge of the importance of breath!
Meditation expert & Studio owner, Cheryl Ward will be joining you in week 3 to discuss and guide you through a brief Meditation practice.

Week 2 – Common Terminology & Poses
Week 3 – Meditation, Mantra & Breathing
Week 4 – Flow class, Q&A and you’re on your way!
